November 14 Layer Master Exercise

So for this session with Ben, we got to learn how to use layers in Photoshop and had to combine two images to create one new image. In Photoshop, you click on the select tool to select the part of the image you want. Then you go to the select option and click inverse. Once the image is inverse, you go on the bottom right corner of the page and add the layer mask, which covers the parts of the image that wasn’t selected from the select tool. Then you use paint brush to go over the image and make the areas you want to reappear that are covered by the layer mask. Finally, drag the image onto a another image.

The images I used, are two mix media drawing I made the day before using watercolor, pencil and pastel.
